Patrick C. Shannon, D.M.D.Dr. Patrick Shannon grew up locally in Braintree, MA. He graduated cum laude from Salve Regina University with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He then went onto Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to receive his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Shannon received the American Academy of Periodontology Student Award and was accepted into the periodontology program at Tufts. During his periodontal residency, Dr. Shannon was a clinical instructor in the Tufts dental student clinic. At the 2013 Yankee Dental Congress, he was invited to teach a hands-on course on crown lengthening and osseous surgical procedures. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts Dental Society, Middlesex District, Academy of Osseointegration, American Academy of Periodontology, and a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. His wife and son keep him busy outside the office with day trips to museums, jump parks, and weekend activities. In his free time, Dr. Shannon enjoys completing projects around the house, landscaping, and working on cars. |
